The value of fine jewellery depends on the quality of the stones, the maker, the period and the condition. Each piece is examined in person by a FGA qualified gemmologist, and where appropriate we recommend independent laboratory reports.
Our Specialists
Our jewellery valuations are led by Justin Roberts, FGA DGA, a jewellery specialist and historian with more than 25 years’ experience at international auction houses. He began his career at Phillips in London and Geneva and was later a Deputy Director of Sotheby’s Jewellery Department in London. Justin has worked on the valuation and sale of celebrated collections including those of the Duchess of Windsor, Daisy Fellowes and the Duchess of Roxburghe.
